Clearly various components need adequate interactions and coherent integration. For example, navigation relies on lighting design and communication techniques; lighting concerns intensity distribution as part of the communication design goal beyond temporal spreading. Besides the theoretical significance, our work has strong experimental components undergoing an iterative process, i.e., to utilize measurements collected from test-beds and feed them into modeling, design and analysis. The resulting inferences can in turn be used to further fine-tune the test-beds and make design improvements. These results readily lead to complete system integration. The Center would like to collaborate with industry partners to transition implementations and prototypes.
