Jay A Farrell

Professor of Electrical Engineering at UCR, expertise is in estimation and control for nonlinear dynamic systems. Current research includes adaptive approximation based control systems, aided navigation systems and autonomous vehicles. He is Vice General Chair of the 2011 and General Chair of the 2012 IEEE Conference on Decision and Control.

Professor of Design Program at UCD where he is also Co-Director of the California Lighting Technology Center. His research centers on energy efficiency strategies and technologies for buildings, focusing on fenestration systems and daylighting, as well as the integration of electric lighting and fenestration controls. He also designs computer-based tools that facilitate energy and environmental impact considerations for building design and operation decision-making.
Patrick Yue

Prof. Patrick Yue currently a Professor in Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at the University of California, Santa Barbara. Since July 2010, he has been on sabbatical leave to the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology as a Visiting Professor in ECE. His technical expertise is in the area of high-frequency modeling for transistor, passive components and IC packages; ESD protection devices and schemes for RFICs; CMOS wireless and wireline communication circuits; and CAD and design methodology for RFICs.
